Waddesdon Manor, home of the Rothschild family, is a major historic attraction and has recently invested heavily in its visitor centre and own brand offering. Visual Philosophy were asked to create completely new styling for an existing range of Waddesdon Preserves. The range concept focused on the characters who lived at Waddesdon soon after it was built, from Baron Ferdinand himself to Mrs Boxall the Housekeeper, and the garden and kitchen staff. The labels featured engravings of the fruit that would have been grown in Waddesdon’s plant nurseries. The preserves proved so successful, that the styling has been extended across chocolates and ale, with further range extensions in the pipeline.
